Deepshots began as an underwater photography equipment blog and evolved into a monthly column in Scuba Diver magazine. Today, it operates as a UK-based importer and retailer, offering a wide range of well-known underwater photography brands such as AOI, Sea & Sea, Kraken Sports, Weefine, Nauticam, Bigblue, and Divevolk. In addition to these, Deepshots also provides its own line of affordable, high-quality arms and clamps, catering to various underwater photography needs.

The man behind Deepshots is Jussi Hokkanen. Before moving to London, Jussi worked as a freelance photographer and studio manager in Helsinki, Finland. Jussi started his career in underwater photography in Cameras Underwater, who were trailblazers in underwater camera equipment sales in the UK and Europe. Since that Jussi has worked in Ocean Leisure Cameras and Mike’s Dive Cameras. Now, finally, Jussi brings 25 years of experience in underwater photography equipment all under one roof at Deepshots Underwater Photography. Over the years Jussi has dived around the world and there hardly is a brand in underwater photography that Jussi hasn’t tried and tested.

Deepshots is headquartered in Tring, Hertfordshire, about 40 miles from London. While we are primarily as an online store, customers are welcome collect orders from our warehouse, which is located in a historic 1820-built Silk Mill, now converted into office and industrial units.
